At A+ Plumbing & Gas, we’re a straight-shooting, family-run plumbing and gas company serving the OKC metro. Founded in 2018 by brothers John and Peter, we believe in doing the job right the first time—with honesty, transparency, and no frills.

We focus on residential plumbing and gas work, but we also offer commercial services. We’re not here to sell you something you don’t need—we’re here to fix the problem, explain your options, and let you make the call. No commission-based techs. No upsells. John Gaskill

John Gaskill possesses over five and a half years of experience as a highly skilled plumber in Oklahoma City. As the owner of A+ Plumbing and Gas, he has earned an outstanding reputation marked by an abundance of five-star reviews and an unwavering dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.

John commenced his plumbing and gas career in 2009, embarking on a four-year apprenticeship under the tutelage of renowned contractors who are esteemed in the industry. Throughout this apprenticeship, he acquired comprehensive expertise encompassing the installation of water heaters, the precise identification and detection of leaks, whole-house rerouting solutions, expertise in handling slab and yard leaks, as well as executing intricate gas projects for swimming pools, kitchens, fireplaces, and performing plumbing and gas work for comprehensive home renovations and new constructions.

Peter Gaskill

Peter received his Journeyman license in 2021 and you could put something to the nature that Peter has been walking alongside John since the conception of the business, but entered into part-ownership in 2025.

Peter and Catherine have been married for 9 years and we have 3 children. We spend our extra time doing all the things outside with our kids,, biking, camping, fishing etc.

In 2010, Gaskill achieved a significant milestone by obtaining his plumbing and gas journeyman’s license. In January 2018, he embarked on the journey to secure his plumbing and gas contractor’s license, successfully accomplishing this goal in May 2018. It was during this period that he established A+ Plumbing and Gas, and he has enjoyed working as a plumber in Oklahoma City ever since. The choice of this business name underscores the unwavering commitment to delivering top-tier quality and caring customer service.

Beyond his professional achievements, John is a devoted husband to Katie, celebrating twelve years of marital bliss. Their family has been blessed with five children, ranging in age from ten to one year. During his free time, John relishes cherished moments spent with his family, participates in church activities, enjoys spirited games of disc golf with his siblings, and takes his children on exhilarating mountain biking adventures across the Oklahoma City metro area.

In his capacity as the owner of A+ Plumbing and Gas, John’s primary objective is to distinguish his company from competitors by consistently providing superior customer service. His aspiration is to build a reputation rooted in trustworthiness, integrity, and adaptability, while building lasting relationships with valued customers.

Gaskill has also shared his extensive plumbing and gas knowledge on local news outlets such as KOCO, KFOR, and Fox 25. He has provided invaluable insights on protecting homes during harsh winter conditions and preventing plumbing issues caused by freezing temperatures
